What Variant A and Variant B mean, product by product
Every product splits traffic between the rule's existing content or URL (Variant A) and whatever you add as Variant B. What Variant B actually changes depends on the product:
Variant B is a second destination URL on the matched rule. A split visitor lands on your main destination (Variant A) or the alternate one (Variant B), then GeoSwap redirects them the same way either time (auto, popup, or bar mode).
Same idea as Geo Redirects, on a short link's matched rule instead of a page rule: Variant B is a second destination URL, and a split click lands on one or the other.
Variant B is a second block of HTML for the same rule. The page's targeted element swaps in whichever variant the visitor is assigned, on the page they're already on.
Variant B is a second version of the bar's content. Only the message changes between variants — position, style, color, and buttons stay the same for both.
Variant B is a second version of the popup's content. Test different headlines or offers to find what converts best for each region — buttons and styling stay the same for both.
Geo Content, Geo Bars, and Geo Popups show their variant on the page the visitor is already on, so GeoSwap can watch what happens next without anything extra. Geo Redirects and Geo Links send the visitor to a different URL — see Tracking Across Sites for how GeoSwap follows them there.
