GeoSwap MCP
Connect an MCP client to inspect and manage GeoSwap short links. This server supports short links only. Every write starts with a preview; the change is made only after you review it and submit its confirmation token.
Before you connect
- In GeoSwap, open workspace settings and create an API key.
- Copy the key when shown. Treat it as a secret; do not paste it into a prompt or commit it to a repository.
- Use a test link first. You can revoke the key from the same API keys settings page.
Claude Code
Replace <key> with your API key in a local terminal:
claude mcp add --transport http geoswap https://geoswap.co/api/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer <key>"Cursor
Add this server to your project's .cursor/mcp.json. Keep the key out of version control; use your local secrets workflow for the value.

}Available tools
list_links— Search and page through short links, with labels, status, rules count, and recent clicks.get_link— Inspect a link by ID or short URL, including routing rules and recent country activity.create_link— Prepare a short-link creation preview.update_link— Prepare an update preview. Supplied geo rules replace the current rules.pause_link / resume_link— Prepare a preview to pause or resume one link.apply_change— Apply a single-use confirmation token from a preview.
Review every change
For every write, inspect the preview summary, fields, warnings, and click impact. The preview token expires after ten minutes and works once for the API key and workspace that created it. Only then call apply_change. If the link changes after preview, create a fresh preview.
There is no delete tool. Pause a link to stop it redirecting; resume it to enable it again. Operators can pause MCP writes for a workspace while leaving reads available.
Revoke access
Open workspace settings → API keys and revoke the key. Revocation prevents subsequent MCP requests using it.
